This is an EMERGENCY REQUEST.....
 
On March 8 there will be a special election for U.S. Congress in the district that is directly west of our area. Democrat Bill Foster (click here http://www.foster08.com) is running a very close race against Republican Jim Oberweis, a rich right-winger who has lost a number of elections for public office, but who seems intent on using his millions to force himself and his agenda down the throats of Illinois voters.
 
As of this morning, polls show that Foster has pulled WITHIN 2 POINTS of BEATING Oberweis. I just recieved an EMERGENCY REQUEST from the Democratic Party..... We have been asked to do a GET-OUT-THE-VOTE phone bank for Bill Foster on the following days - Sunday, March 2 (from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm) Wednesday, March 5 (7:00 pm to 9:00 pm), and Thursday, March 6 (7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.) The phone bank will be held at IBEW 701 www.ibew701.org, which is located at 28600 Bella Vista Parkway, in Warrenville.
